"Freedom From Pain" Celebration of Independence Day with Cancer Patients & 8th Anniversary celebration of inception of DNipCare in Delhi State Cancer Institute, Dilshad Garden, Delhi on 15th August 2016. Volunteers including students from NSS of IIT Delhi, NSS of The Hindu College, Aditi Mahavidyalay of Delhi University, IGNOU, Lady Hardinge Medical College etc. attended the program.  Dr. R.K. Grover, Director & CEO, Delhi State Cancer Institute was the Chief Guest of the program.  Students enthralled the audience including the patients and bystanders with their singing and dancing skills.  Fruit juices were distributed to all the patients in the hospital and Sir Soba Singh Dharmashala of the Cancer Institute.

"Cancer Awareness & Palliative Care Sensitization Campaign" by Delhi Malayali Association (DMA), Mayur Vihar Phase 2, Delhi in association with DNipCare on 07th August 2016 in Community Centre, Mayur Vihar Phase 2, Delhi.

Dr. SP Kataria, Consultant & Head of Department, Medical Oncology, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital was the Chief Guest and spoke on prevention and curative protocols of cancer.  Mr. VP Chandran, Chairman presided over the program and Mr. Manilal Raghavan, Secretary, DMA coordinated the event and welcomed the audience.  Mr. Cyriac Antony, Treasurer, Mr. Suresh TP, Secretary, & KV Hamza, General Secretary sensitized the audience on the nuances of community based Palliative Care practiced in Delhi under DNipCare and the necessity of setting up or extending the facility to larger population with the active involvement and participation of likeminded organizations like DMA to cater to the large population of poor suffering patients in Delhi.
