Palliative Care Monthly Review Meeting & International Women's Day Celebration with Cancer Prevention Class for Women Home makers



On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, Delhites' National Initiative in Palliative Care (DNipCare) organised an awareness programme on cancer prevention for the residents of E-Block, Sector 16, Rohini, Delhi. Senior Oncologist, Dr Rajni Mutneja answered questions on preventive and curative cancer from more than 30 women from all walks of life.  The participants found the session very informative.

The programme was organised by Seema Prasad, Sunil Sharma and Dinesh Prasad of DNipCare, with the help of volunteers, including Ajith Kumar and Kalpana Gupta.

PRESS RELEASE

The Palliative Care Monthly Review Meeting under DNipCare will be held at 5.30 PM on Saturday, 8th March 2014 in Kerala Club, M 67, Connaught Place, New Delhi.  Discussions will also be held focussing on patients especially lady patients suffering from long term, bedridden, terminally ill diseases including Cancer as 8th March being the International Women’s Day.  

All the volunteers and well-wishers are requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting.

Further, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, DNipCare will be holding a Class on Cancer prevention for the benefit of the local residents especially the women homemakers of E Block, Sector 16, Rohini at 2.30 PM on Saturday, 8th March 2014.  Dr. Rajani Mutneja, Sr. Oncologist will conduct the class and the DNipCare volunteers will coordinate the program.
