Rahul Diwakar bid farewell to this world

With profound grief, we the volunteers of DNipCare, convey the condolences to the bereaved parents and relatives of one of our Palliative family members Rahul Diwakar (15), who passed away yesterday i.e., 27th March 2012 in AIIMS, New Delhi after a long struggle with the cervical and thoracic actinomycosis he was suffering from. We are grateful to all our volunteers who were visiting him very frequently, the doctors of AIIMS for whom he was the favourite patient and Mr. Sanjay Sharma, the benign benefactor who supported him with medicines in Begu Sarai, Bihar. Rahul bid farewell to this world, but will always remain alive in our hearts.

Our Thressiamma Chechi (Mrs. Thressiamma Chacko) is no more...

With profound grief we, the volunteers of DNipCare, condole the sad demise of our beloved Thressiamma Chechi (Mrs. Thressiamma Chacko)at 3 PM today, i.e., 19th March 2012. Surely she was an inspiration for all of us as she knew the importance of Palliation as a carer, as a nurse and finally as a patient also. We thought we could reclaim her from the Good God three years back when she was given a bad prognosis of 15 days of the cancer affected her during May 2009, but God had His own definite plans and took away her soul now. Let her love and affection give us all the strength to work more for all the long term, bedridden, terminally ill patients around us. Let us all pray for the departed soul of our loving Thressiamma Chechi.
